Gang Qiang Shen was born in Shanghai, China in 1954.
Member of China Artists Association, Shanghai Artists Association, and Shanghai Printmaking Association.
Participation in various art exhibitions, awards and collections:
1. “Eden of Childhood “(decorative painting), the eighth national fine art exhibition, won the prize of excellent works (the highest prize in the competition), and was recommended by China Art Association for foreign cultural exchange and exhibition.
2. The third China Sports Art Exhibition "Life is in Sports" (decorative painting) won the first prize and was selected by President of the international Olympic committee Juan Antonio Samaranch and collected by the international Olympic museum.
3. Collection of ballads of "Ode to the Countryside", the ninth national art exhibition. Won the bronze award, 10 works are collected by China art museum.
4. The second National New Year's card design "Happy Childhood" won the second prize.
5. The 5th China Sports Art Exhibition "Riders of the Dressage" was awarded the third prize.
6. The 12th National Printmaking Exhibition "Children's Sun (Printmaking)" (Shenzhen Art Museum Collection).
7. The 13th National Printmaking Exhibition "Urban Spring and Autumn (Prints)" (Nanjing Art Museum Collection).
8. The 3rd National Watercolor (Powder) Painting "Houses to Be Disappeared (Watercolor)" (Personal Collection).
9. Shanghai's third Youth Art Exhibition "Day and Night (Decorative Painting)" won the award for masterpiece.
10. The 4th Shanghai Young Art Exhibition “Psalm Chapter 3 (Decorative Painting)” won the award for masterpiece.
11. Shanghai Workers Art Exhibition "Childhood (Decorative Painting)" won the second prize.
12. The 8th National Art Exhibition Shanghai Regional Exhibition "Garden of Eden (Decorative Painting)" won the award.
13. The 3rd Shanghai Sports Art Exhibition "Life is in Sports (Decorative Painting)" won the award for masterpiece.

23. The museum in Marburg, Germany (October 1996) held a solo exhibition of Gang Qiang Shen's individual works, showing 32 works (17 works were collected by individuals).

In 2002, he lived in Melbourne, Australia, and his works have been collected by individuals for many years.
